ecryptfs-mount-private -> mount: No such file or directory

Problem

user@host:~$ ecryptfs-mount-private 
Enter your login passphrase:
Inserted auth tok with sig [affecaffeeaffe00] into the user session keyring
mount: No such file or directory
user@host:~$

The keys are correctly unlocked

user@host:~$ keyctl list @u
2 keys in keyring:
1013878144: --alswrv  2223  2223 user: affecaffeeaffe01
270316877: --alswrv  2223  2223 user: affecaffeeaffe02

But no luck:

$ ls -al
total 20

Workaround

user@host:~$ keyctl link @u @s
user@host:~$ ecryptfs-mount-private
user@host:~$
